PROJECTS

Increasing the share of renewable energy in the ROF
Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej "Eko-Strug" Sp. z o.o. in Tyczyn together with Gospodarka Komunalna Sp. z o.o. in Boguchwała implemented the partnership project entitled: "Increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in the area of the ROF - Stage III (Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej Eko-Strug Sp. z o.o. + Gospodarka Komunalna Sp. z o.o.)". EU funding for the project amounted to PLN 640,937.82, while the total value of the project was PLN 1,116,318.18.
The primary objective of the investment was to improve and protect the environment. The economic aspect of the project is also significant. The rise in energy prices is one of the main factors behind the increase in the price of goods and services, which has a direct impact on the operating costs of water and sewage companies. To address the problem, hoping to partially compensate for the price increase, a project was launched, resulting in the construction of five photovoltaic installations, producing clean electricity for the company's own needs, at the Water Treatment Stations in the towns of: Rzeszów (Budziwój settlement), Borek Stary, Tyczyn, which are operated by Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej "Eko-Strug" Sp. z o.o. in Tyczyn, and in Lutoryż and Wola Zgłobieńska, which belong to Gospodarki Komunalna Sp. z o.o. in Boguchwała. The project enables the generation of 164.04 MWh of energy from RES annually and translates into an estimated annual decrease in emissions of 128.11 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
The benefit of the project is an improvement in the economic efficiency of both companies involved in the project, achieved mainly through a reduction in the costs of current operations and optimisation of prices for customers of services provided by both the Project Leader and Partner.
